Frequently asked questions
What happens to transparency?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a background colour — white by default, adjustable in Settings.
Which quality should I pick?
Use 80–90 for sharing and the web, 90–95 for printing. Lower values give smaller files with visible artefacts below about 60.
Are my images uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
